The 2006 program is designed to encrypt various types of documents in order to protect them from unauthorized access. It offers four different encryption algorithms, each with varying security levels and sizes: DESX (128 bits), Blowfish (448 bits), Rijndael, and CAST (256 bits). This program can encrypt not only text documents but also photographs and images. To decrypt a file, the recipient's computer must have the program installed as well. Additionally, Advanced Encryption Package 2006 supports self-extracting files and password-protected ZIP files. Users can also securely format the clusters of the hard drive where a particular file is stored to prevent recovery by data recovery programs. The program includes a random password generator that creates passwords based on mouse movements or the computer's clock. Furthermore, users have the option to compose and encrypt emails directly from the program interface, with the contents automatically opening in the computer's email client.
